Jennifer Aniston Explains the Meaning Behind Her 'Goddess Ritual' With Her Closest Friends

Jennifer Aniston is opening up about the special tradition she has with some of her closest friends.

The 50-year-old actress just revealed that the group hosts a “goddess ritual” to celebrate important moments in their lives.

Most recently, Jennifer and friends including Courteney Cox, Molly Kimmel and Andrea Bendewald, held a ritual at her 50th birthday party, following their scary emergency landing.

During their ritual, the women sit in a circle on the floor and pass around a “beechwood talking stick decorated with feathers and charms” to set their intentions and celebrate how far they’ve come.

For her 50th birthday party, the circle was all about embracing her age.

“I’m entering into what I feel is one of the most creatively fulfilling periods of my life. I’ve been doing this for 30 years and I feel like it’s just about to really bloom,” Jennifer told the NY Times.

She added, “It’s taken time for me to get where I am and I put a lot of work into my craft. I’ve failed. I’ve succeeded. I’ve overcome. I’ve, you know, I’ve stayed around. I’m still here.”

Jennifer added that these rituals have also occurred before both of her weddings, when babies were born and when she recently had to put down her dog Dolly.
