Bernie Sanders Talks Heart Attack, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez & Trump Ompeachment on 'Kimmel'!

Bernie Sanders stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on the third night (October 23) of his Brooklyn residency, and gave an update on his health after he underwent an emergency heart procedure.

The Senator and candidate found a blockage in one of his arteries, and he underwent a procedure to have two stents inserted. “It turns out, unbeknownst to me, that I had an artery that wasn’t functioning very well,” he explained. “I’m healthy, I’m feeling great.”

Bernie then heaped praise on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who endorsed him last weekend at a huge rally in Queens.

“What I like most about her is she is inspiring working people and young people all over this country to get involved in the political process,” Bernie told Kimmel. “And if there has ever been a time in American history where we need millions of people to step up to the plate, take on Trump, and fight for justice, this is that moment.”
