Hilary Duff Confronts Paparazzo at Her Son's Football Game, Shares Video on Instagram

A paparazzo was taking photos at Hilary Duff‘s seven-year-old son Luca‘s football game on Saturday morning (February 22) and she decided to confront him.

The 32-year-old Lizzie McGuire actress posted a video to Instagram that shows the conversation she had with the photographer.

“Paparazzi shooting KIDS,” she captioned the video. “Go ‘practice’ your photography on ADULTS! Creep! Laws need to change! This is stalking minors! Disgusting!”

In the video, Hilary approaches the man and asks, “Who are you here with? Do you know any people on the team? Can you stop taking pictures of the kids please?”

The man replied that “it’s legal” and Hilary tells him that he’s making her “feel really uncomfortable.”

“Well you shouldn’t feel uncomfortable. You want me to show you ID?” he replies.

“I’m not asking for your ID. I’m asking you to stop taking pictures of our 7-year-old children if you don’t know anyone that’s here,” Hilary responds. “I’m asking you human to human, as a mother, if you don’t know anyone here, can you please stop taking pictures of our children playing football this morning.”

After the man continues to defend himself, Hilary tells him that she’s going to post the video for her “15 million followers on Instagram and let people know how creepy it is that this is what you’re choosing to do on your Saturday morning.”

Busy Philipps commented on the post and said, “THIS IS INFURIATING. This isn’t about his job or his “rights”. This is about his OWN perceived POWER over others. I imagine it’s the only time this pathetic person feels any power in his life. I know it’s illegal for an adult not with a child to be inside a playground- how is taking pictures of children without parental consent legal?!??”
