Jude Law Will Play Captain Hook in 'Peter Pan & Wendy' Live Action Film

Jude Law will be sporting a hook on his hand for his next role in Peter Pan & Wendy!

The 47-year-old actor has signed on to star in the live action film as Captain Hook, Variety reports.

The original animated film came out in 1953 and centers on a mischievous young boy who can fly and never grows up, and spends his never-ending childhood having adventures on the island of Neverland as the leader of the Lost Boys, interacting with fairies, pirates, mermaids, Natives, and occasionally ordinary children from the world outside Neverland.

David Lowery will direct the movie with Jim Whitaker producing.
