Prince William to Deliver His First-Ever TED Talk - Get a Preview!

Prince William is making his first-ever TED Talk.

The 38-year-old royal will speak on Saturday (October 10) during Countdown—TED’s first free and virtual conference devoted to global warming.

He will joined by Al Gore, Jaden Smith, Chris Hemsworth, Jane Fonda, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Mark Ruffalo, Don Cheadle and more for the virtual conference.

“The shared goals for our generation are clear — together we must protect and restore nature, clean our air, revive our oceans, build a waste-free world and fix our climate,” he says in a sneak peek of the talk, via People.

“And we must strive to do all of this in a decade. If we achieve these goals, by 2030 our lives won’t be worse and we won’t have to sacrifice everything we enjoy. Instead, the way we live will be healthier, cleaner, smarter and better for all of us.”

Countdown will take place Saturday from 11 a.m-5 p.m. ET, and anyone can watch the livestream on TED’s YouTube Channel.
