The Bachelorette's Garrett Yrigoyen Breaks Silence on Split from Becca Kufrin

Garrett Yrigoyen is speaking out for the first time about his split from Becca Kufrin.

The two reality stars met on The Bachelorette back in 2018 and got engaged while on the show. They broke up in the summer of 2020.

Becca had previously revealed that her relationship with Garrett was having some issues after he made comments in support of a pro-police slogan associated with the Blue Lives Matter movement.

Garrett was asked by a fan on Instagram Stories to talk about what led to his breakup with Becca and he decided to respond. He said that he “truly doesn’t want to be known for the show,” but he gave an answer.

“So out of respect for her and her family, I’m only going to answer this question ever as, it just didn’t work out,” he said.

Garrett also gave an update on his love life.

“I met an incredible person who supports me and my goals and makes me very happy!” he said, referring to new girlfriend Alex Farrar. See their photos below.

Someone asked Garrett about how he got over his split from Becca and he said, “Life is too short to dwindle. There’s amazing people out there and if you pour everything into one and it doesn’t work out, then it wasn’t meant to be.”
