Kristin Davis Weighs In on Criticism of 'Deadly Illusions,' Her Hit Movie on Netflix

The new thriller film Deadly Illusions has been the number one movie on Netflix all week and now Kristin Davis is weighing in on criticism the film is getting.

Without going into too much detail and giving away spoilers, the film deals with mental health issues and there are some very uncomfortable scenes throughout the movie.

You can read all about the crazy ending and why people were confused by that final moment in the film by checking out our previous post.

Kristin took to Instagram on Wednesday (March 24) to thank her fans for supporting the project. “To Everyone Here: I love you guys! Your support means everything 🥰,” she captioned a behind-the-scenes image with co-stars Shanola Hampton and Dermot Mulroney.

“This movie made me uncomfortable! Only could get through half of it,” one fan wrote in the comments section and Kristin actually responded!

Kristin responded to that fan and seemingly understood how the fan felt. She wrote back, “That’s ok, i get it!”

Plenty of fans are loving the film though and many left glowing reviews in the comments section of the post. While many probably think that this is a Netflix original movie, it’s actually just one they licensed to stream on the service. It was not produced by the streamer.

Kristin will be returning to the small screen in the upcoming Sex and the City sequel series, which is going to be titled And Just Like That.
