Jordana Brewster & Michelle Rodriguez's 'Fast & Furious' Characters Are Finally Getting Their First Real Scenes Together in 'F9'

If you’re a big Fast & Furious fan, you might have noticed that Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez‘s characters, Mia and Letty, have never shared any real scenes together throughout the franchise.

However, that’s all about to change in the upcoming F9 movie.

Jordana spoke with Insider recently and revealed that in F9, fans will finally see the sisters-in-law get quality time onscreen.

“Michelle [Rodriguez] was like, ‘Dude, we’ve never had a scene together. We’re always secondary with the guys. We don’t interact. We have a sisterhood. We need to explore this,’” she shared.

Jordana added that Michelle was a driving force for the scenes to happen, alongside director Justin Lin.

“Michelle’s always been very outspoken about not doing anything that isn’t true to character, and that means not placating the guys, that means not playing second fiddle to the guys,” she shared. “I’m really grateful that we got a chance to do that.”
