I ran into The City‘s Jay Lyon (Whitney Port‘s boyfriend) at the Village at the Yard during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and guess what, you’re going to be seeing him a lot more!!!
MTV has renewed the freshman reality show, which is a spinoff of The Hills, which is a spinoff of Laguna Beach.
The City airs on Mondays @ 10PM ET/PT on MTV.

X-Men star Alan Cumming, aka Nightcrawler, took the time to speak with me last week during the “A Sealed Fate?” dinner at Bon Appetit Supper Club during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
The dinner was sponsored by The Humane Society and hosted by America’s Next Top Model photographer/judge Nigel Barker. The 43-year-old Scottish actor shared about the blogs he reads, a certain foolish blogger and even his upcoming singing career. Check it:
JJ: Tell us about your new movie, Dare. (The film screened at Sundance.)
AC: It’s about these three high school kids, and it’s interesting because its about these kids who are finding themselves, and are becoming sexually active, etc. I really like it because it’s done in a really interesting way, and it can go beyong your expectations because the people you think are gonna be together, are not by the end of the movie. In the film, I’m an actor and I’m really mean, mean to Emmy Rossum.
JJ: What do you do to her?
AC: I just b—- slap her, like really hard.
JJ: You live in New York nowadays, Where do you like to hang-out?
AC: My favorite bar is Eastern Bloc on 5th St. between Ave A and B. I live in the East Village.

Law and Order: Special Victims Unit actor Christopher Meloni stopped in to pick up some goodies at the Spongebob Squarepants lounge at Village at the Yard in Park City, Utah during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
The 47-year-old hunk was kind enough to take a quick pic with me! He signed the Spongebob surfboard for charity and later headed to the Gatorade G-Gym for a little work-out.
Meloni was at Sundance to promote his latest film, Brief Interviews With Hideous Men, costarring Julianne Nicholson, actor Dominic Cooper, Malcolm Goodwin, Benjamin Gibbard, Ben Shenkman and John Krasinski (he also directed the flick).
After Sundance, the SVU star spent some father/daughter time at FAO Schwarz toy store in New York City with daughter Sophia Eva Pietrain, 7. Meloni bought Sophia a Floppy Dog by FAO Schwarz.

Zoe Kravitz and I had a chance to talk last week at the Bon Appetit Supper Club during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival at Skylodge in Park City, Utah.
She dined with a few friends including actor Chris Lemke (pictured below) and Danny Masterson (not pictured).
Here’s what the 20-year-old daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet had to say:
JJ: Have you met Nakoa-Wolf yet?
ZK: Yes, I have met him! He’s adorable.
JJ: Who are some of your favorite designers?
ZK: Alexander Wang, he’s amazing. Chanel, I love Chanel. I don’t know. I’m kind of a vintage-y girl. I kind of just like what I like. I shop at flea markets.
JJ: Who are you style icons?
ZK: Carrie Bradshaw. Sex and the City. Jimi Hendrix.

Ewan McGregor was an unlikely shopper at Fred Segal Fun at Village at the Yard in Park City, Utah during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
The 37-year-old Scottish stud snagged K-Swiss shoes and Spyder ski jackets. He admitted to not being the active guy everyone makes him out to be, though.
“I did that thing on the motorcycle and people think I’m also a great skier or mountain climber. I’m really just average at most sports”, he said.
Ewan also stopped by the Spongebob Squarepants gifting suite. He signed a surfboard, which will be auctioned off for charity and picked up a few goodies for his kids.
Mr. McGregor and costar Jim Carrey have been in town for their new film, I Love You, Phillip Morris, which premiered on Sunday.
While here, Ewan also picked the Ray-Ban Visionary Award. He said, “I think it’s for people who worked in independent film and encouraged others to do so – so, that would be me.”
Ashley Judd looks stunning as usual, whie rocking out a pair of sunglasses at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah on Saturday.
The 40-year-old actress is best known for her roles in thriller films, including: Double Jeopardy, High Crimes and Kiss the Girls. Ash is the daughter of country-music singer, Naomi Judd and is also the sister of country-music singer, Wynonna Judd. She is married to Scottish race car driver, Dario Franchitti.
Ashley is at Sundance to promote her new film, Helen, which explores depression and leads her character to push away her husband and unable to care for her 13-year-old daughter.

Guess who I ran into at the Nickelodeon Spongebob Squarepants lounge at Village at the Yard in Park City, Utah during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival!
That’s right, SNL alum Amy Poehler. She said she reads JustJared.com and loves the site. Wahoo! We briefly talked about her adorable son Archie and her new show coming out on NBC this spring (still untitled).
While there, I also got to touch the $75,000 Spongebob necklace!!! Russell Simmons and his Simmons Jewelry Co. partnered with Nickelodeon to create the 12 carat total weight diamond-encrusted SpongeBob pendant to be auctioned off for charity. Holla!!!!!
