Liam Hemsworth was not by his wife Miley Cyrus‘ side at the 2019 Grammy Awards and there’s a good explanation as to why.

The 29-year-old actor was in New York City this week to promote his new movie Isn’t It Romantic and if he intended on flying back for the show, his plans were halted by a hospitalization.

Liam‘s co-star Rebel Wilson told Extra, “[Liam] was in [the] hospital overnight, so hopefully he will be fine. He texted us this morning.”

A rep for Warner Brothers told People that Liam had to miss his Sunday press day because he wasn’t feeling well. It’s not clear what happened, but we hope he’s feeling better!

Jada Pinkett Smith and Jaden Smith had a mother-son night at the 2019 Grammy Awards!

The family hit the red carpet at the award ceremony on Sunday evening (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

During the show, Jada took to the stage alongside host Alicia Keys as well as Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez to give an inspiring speech about the power of music.

Pink is definitely okay with losing the Best Pop Vocal Album Grammy award to Ariana Grande.

The 39-year-old singer did not attend the show and, for the 20th time, lost at the Grammys. She has won three Grammys over the years.

“I think it’s kind of rad that I just lost my 20th Grammy nomination. I’m always honored to be included,” Pink tweeted to her followers.

She then explained why she had to skip the show: “Now to get this sick baby in the bathtub. Congrats to all the nominees! Have fun tonight.”

Tracee Ellis Ross is looking so beautiful.

The Black-ish actress hit the red carpet at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Childish Gambino is now the first rapper to win Song of the Year at the Grammys!

The 35-year-old singer and actor, aka Donald Glover, was absent from the event held on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Donald and fellow songwriter Ludwig Goransson won the award for “This Is America,” beating out “All the Stars” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA, “Boo’d Up” by Ella Mai, “God’s Plan” by Drake, “In My Blood” by Shawn Mendes, “The Joke” by Brandi Carlile, “The Middle” by Zedd and Grey feat. Maren Morris, and “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.

“This Is America” also won for Best Rap/Sung Performance and Best Music Video.

Additionally, Donald is nominated for Record of the Year for “This Is America,” and he received a nomination for Best R&B Song “Feels Like Summer.”

If you missed it, Donald debuted a bleached blonde beard at a Grammys pre-party.

Alicia Keys is opening up about her (kind of) win at the 2004 Grammys.

The 38-year-old musician took to the stage during the 2019 Grammy Awards to talk about the time that she and John Mayer “shared” the award for the 2004 Song of the Year.

“I wanted to share with you a little story. I have been super blessed to win 15 Grammys. Pretty cool, pretty cool,” Alicia started. “Thank you. And in 2004 I dreamed about winning song of the year for ‘If I Ain’t Got You.’ So, when my hero, Stevie Wonder, opened up that card and started to read in braille, I just knew he was going to feel my name. My name.”

They then played a clip from the 2004 Grammys when Stevie announced that John‘s song “Daughters” was the winner.

“I ain’t got that Grammy,” Alicia continued. “But don’t worry, it’s okay. Because this story has a really happy ending. Because John said, I agree, Alicia, this should have been yours and he literally broke the Grammy and wrote ‘If I ain’t got you’ with my name on it and gave it to me.”

John then hit the stage and the two reunited the two pieces of the award together.

“We’re putting it back together, it belongs together,” Alicia said before John added, “Just for one night only.”

The two then presented the award for this year’s Song of the Year to Childish Gambino for “This is America” – but he was not in attendance.
