Enzo Lefort, a fencer for the French team, dropped his phone in the middle of his match at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics on Monday (August 8) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The 24-year-old athlete was competing against Germany’s Peter Joppich and the faux pas led to the crowd booing him.
After the phone dropped out of his pocket, Enzo picked it up and handed it to a man on the sidelines.
Enzo ended up losing the match, 15-13.
