Crystal Castles member Ethan Kath is being investigated by the police.
The 34-year-old producer and songwriter is being investigated by Toronto Police’s Sex Crimes unit, as confirmed to The Daily Beast.
“At this point we are able to confirm that there is an investigation. However, because of the nature of the investigation, and for the privacy of the alleged victims, there isn’t anything else that we can say pertaining to it,” the police confirmed.
Allegations have reportedly come from multiple victims, although the police would not verify that report. The Daily Beast is currently in contact with one anonymous accuser who was allegedly age 16 when the two entered into a sexual relationship.
Earlier in the year, former Crystal Castles bandmate Alice Glass shared her own allegations of abuse against Ethan on her website.
