Kate Bosworth takes a lunch break on the set of her upcoming film Homefront on Tuesday (October 16) in New Orleans, La.
The 29-year-old actress rocked a pair of short shorts as she walked around set before sitting down with a pal.

Also on set filming that day was her co-star Jason Statham.
“Day 1 #homefront” Kate tweeted, along with a pic of the script! In the film, Kate plays the meth addicted sister of James Franco‘s character.

Also spotted on the set: Winona Ryder shooting scenes for the flick about a former DEA agent (Statham) who moves his family to a quiet town, where he soon tangles with a local meth druglord (James Franco).

Kate Bosworth is set to play the meth-addicted sister to James Franco‘s character in the upcoming action flick Homefront!
The film follows “an ex-DEA agent (Jason Statham) who seeks a peaceful life and moves his family to a quiet town. Tranquility is shattered when he crosses path with a drug traffickers and a meth kingpin named Gator (Franco),” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Kate will play “Gator’s meth-addicted sister, who inadvertently starts the feud when her son, a bully, gets his butt handed to him by Statham‘s daughter at school. She turns to Gator, psychotically wanting retribution.”
Homefront was written by Sylvester Stallone and will also star Winona Ryder.
