UPDATE: A new report revealed more about Jeremih’s condition and the prognosis is “bleak”

Celebrity friends of singer Jeremih are asking fans to pray for him right now while he battles a mystery illness.

Not much is known at this point about what happened to the 33-year-old singer, but Chance the Rapper did say he is “ill.”

“Please if you can take a second to pray for my friend Jeremih, he is like a brother to me and he’s ill right now. I believe in the healing power of Jesus so if you can for me please please say a prayer over him,” Chance tweeted on Saturday (November 14).

50 Cent says that Jeremih is battling COVID-19, but that has not been confirmed yet.

Hitmaka said, “We need that energy. Pray for my brother. He gone shake back.”

Issa Rae, MJ Rodriguez and H.E.R. strike a pose on the green carpet while attending the 2019 Soul Train Awards held at the Orleans Arena on Sunday (November 17) in Las Vegas.

The three ladies were joined at the event by musicians Keyshia Cole, JoJo, Letoya Luckett, Tank and Jeremih, as well as actors Luke James and Skai Jackson and hostesses Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold.

The 2019 Soul Train Awards were hosted by Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold who opened the show with a rocking opening spectacle, which included a vogue performance from MJ Rodriguez – Check out the performance here!

Lizzo, who was not in attendance, took home the top prize in two categories at the 2019 BET Soul Train Awards: Video of the Year for her “Juice” music video, and Album/Mixtape of the Year for her album Cuz I Love You.

The 34-year-old rapper is currently working on his upcoming sixth full-length album, set for release in the fall. This new song will definitely keep his fans hungry for more music.

“Be right back gon count my blessings then get faded … cuz my 6th album rollout officially started and… how did I even get here ? Here go my My single ‘On Chill,’” Wale tweeted when the song dropped at midnight on Friday morning (July 12).

Teyana Taylor is going it solo.

Following the 27-year-old K.T.S.E. entertainer’s earlier announcement that she would be dropping out of the Later That Night Tour with Jeremih, Teyana revealed on Thursday (August 16) that the tour will now continue on as a solo tour instead, called KTSE On Alse VII. She’ll also be keeping her special guest Dani Leigh on the road.

“#LaterThatNightTour will now be the #KTSEOnAlseVII TOUR. Toronto will be rescheduled for later this week & All other dates will remain the same. I will also keep @DaniLeigh on as my special guest ❤️ I promised y’all I would work it out regardless.✊🏾#womenempowerment #LevelUp,” she announced on Twitter.

One day before, Teyana called out her former tour partner.

“Lazy, sneaky, jealous, conniving, selish, lame ass n–a! Don’t ever try to play me Petunia! They come to see me then 80% of the room leave after MY SET! work my ass off every city, every night! You’ve done nothing this whole tour but act like a DIVA in ya princess chair,” she tweeted at Jeremih. Jeremih has not yet responded to the news.

“Late Nights: The Album – I’m glad the world has finally soaked it in, and is marinating in it, but you best believe I have a whole other late night coming for you real soon: Later That Night,” Jeremih told Billboard. “I gave them the mixtape, I dropped the album, now I want to give them a complete trilogy of work.”
