The show also stars Amy Brenneman, Liv Tyler, Ann Dowd, Margaret Qualley, Chris Zylka, and more! The final season should debut on the network in 2016.

The show gained some traction this week after a great finale and a Writers Guild of America nomination in the episodic drama category.

Justin Theroux Responds to 'Zoolander 2' Transphobia Claims

Justin Theroux is responding to claims that he is transphobic after the Zoolander 2 trailer featured a character (portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch) that made light of transgender individuals.

The character is named All and Ben Stiller‘s Zoolander asks “Are you like a male model or female model?” to which All replies, “All is all.” Justin wrote the film.

“I don’t even know what to make of it, because it hurts my feelings in a way. I take great care in the jokes I write, and the umbrage being taken is out of the context of the scene. I wish people would see the movie first. Satire is a thing that points out the idiots…” Justin told The Wrap.

Another of Justin‘s films, Tropic Thunder, has also received backlash for the use of the “r” word.

“The goal was not to mock or be cruel to the mentally challenged, but exalt in the stupidity of people who use that word. I’m all for letting words be ugly when the target is correct,” Justin said. “With social media and all the rest of it, people’s issues need to be heard … at the end of the day people are looking for bandwidth. People are looking for places to inject their voice. But our target is not, and never was, to disenfranchise anyone.”

'The Leftovers' Showrunner Comments on the Possibility of a Third Season

The season two finale of The Leftovers just aired on HBO and fans are now dying to know if there will be a third season.

HBO has not yet ordered a third season for Justin Theroux and Liv Tyler‘s show, but showrunner and co-creator Damon Lindelof is now commenting on whether or not we could see more.

“If I were watching The Leftovers as a fan, the question that I would most want to know in the wake of the finale is this: Is there going to be more Leftovers? Aside from whether or not HBO’s going to pick up the show for more episodes, [the audience question will be,] Did you design this episode so that it would be the end? Am I looking at this as a potential end of the series?,” Damon told Variety. “I’ll be honest with you, I do not like it when showrunners say, ‘Well, we didn’t know what the future of the show was going to be, so we kind of designed it so it could be the end if there wasn’t anymore.’ This is me saying there are forces greater than me, market forces, that are going to determine what the fate of The Leftovers is. We executed the end of the season as we always planned. We knew exactly how the season was going to end, and that’s exactly what we did. And I would like there to be more Leftovers. So it certainly isn’t a cliffhanger. I think that our best episodes very rarely are. We usually try to end the episodes with some degree of completeness.”

Damon continued, “My hope is that the finale feels like [a wrap-up] for the entire season. We executed exactly the plan that we wanted to execute. There is a feeling of completeness and circularity, but also as storytellers and writers, we want there to be more Leftovers.”

Justin Theroux Reveals He Almost Died on His Honeymoon

Justin Theroux sits down for an appearance on Live! with Kelly & Michael on Friday morning (December 4) in New York City.

The 44-year-old The Leftovers opened up about how he almost died on his honeymoon following his wedding to Jennifer Aniston earlier this year.

Justin decided to go scuba diving with some friends and his oxygen tank reached the red level. They were still underwater when he showed the instructor that the level was low and the instructor made it seem like it was fine. More things happened and he later found out the instructor didn’t want to have the group go up to the surface at that point as they were far from the boat and it would have taken longer to swim above water than below.
