Netflix's 'Partner Track' Creator Talks Season One's Shocking Betrayal Cliffhanger

Partner Track just debuted last week and fans can’t stop talking about that shocking cliffhanger!

The series, which stars Arden Cho, centers on Ingrid Yun, an idealistic young lawyer, who struggles with her moral compass and her passions as she fights to climb the partner track at an elite New York City law firm.

Creator Georgia Lee opened up in a new interview about the series and addressed that cliffhanger.

Arden Cho Celebrates Netflix Series 'Partner Track' At Tastemaker Screening

Arden Cho rocks a bold blue suit for the premiere of her new Netflix series, Partner Track, in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (August 23).

The 37-year-old actress met up with a ton of her co-stars, including Nolan Gerard Funk, Dominic Sherwood, Bradley Gibson, Alexandra Turshen, Rob Heaps, Matthew Rauch, and Roby Attal.

Kelvin Han Yee, Lena Ahn, Esther Moon, Will Stout, Kim Shumway, Desmond Chiam, Helen Wan, Kristen Campo, Jo Sung, Rich Ting, Georgia Lee, Rob Heaps, Julie Anne Robinson, Zane Phillips, and Peter Friedlander were also at the tastemaker screening and reception for the series.

“I deserve, at least once in my life, to tell a story that girls can watch and be inspired by,” Arden told THR of the show.

Here’s a quick summary: Partner Track centers on Ingrid Yun, a 1st generation Korean American and the first lawyer in her family. She experiences the trials and tribulations of excelling at the prestigious (but old school) law firm, Parsons Valentine.

With the support of her friends, she battles through workplace challenges to break through the glass ceiling on her path to become partner. But will her drive and ambition leave room for love?

The 10-episode first season will debut on Netflix on Friday, August 26. See the trailer here!

The Stars of USA's New Cheerleader Series 'Dare Me' Attend Premiere Screening in L.A.

Willa Fitzgerald and Herizen Guardiola snap a cute photo together while attending the premiere screening of their new USA Network series Dare Me on Wednesday (December 18) at the ArcLight in Hollywood.

The ladies were joined at the event by co-star Rob Heaps, executive producers Megan Abbott and Gina Fattore, and director Steph Green.

Dare Me is based on the acclaimed novel by Abbott and it follows the fraught relationship between two best friends (Guardiola and Marlo Kelly) after a new coach (Fitzgerald) arrives to bring their team to prominence. While the girls’ friendship is put to the test, their young lives are changed forever when a shocking crime rocks their quiet rust belt town.

USA Debuts Trailer for New Series 'Dare Me,' Set in the World of High School Cheerleading

The new USA Network series Dare Me, which is set in the cutthroat world of competitive high school cheerleading, will debut next month and the first trailer was just released!

Dare Me is based on the acclaimed novel by Megan Abbott and it follows the fraught relationship between two best friends (Herizen Guardiola and Marlo Kelly) after a new coach (Willa Fitzgerald) arrives to bring their team to prominence. While the girls’ friendship is put to the test, their young lives are changed forever when a shocking crime rocks their quiet rust belt town.

Part coming-of-age story, part sport drama, part murder mystery, Dare Me exposes the physical and psychological extremes that some young women are willing to endure in order to get ahead.

Willa starred in the MTV series Scream and most recently appeared in the movie The Goldfinch. You might remember Herizen from her Netflix series The Get Down and Marlo is an Aussie actress who has appeared on Home and Away.

Also starring in Dare Me are Paul Fitzgerald, Zach Roerig, Rob Heaps, and Alison Thornton. The new series, produced by Universal Cable Productions, premieres on USA on Sunday, December 29 at 10/9c.
