Steve Dillon has sadly passed away at age 54, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The legendary comic book artist, who co-created Preacher, died this week in New York City.
His brother Glyn took to his Twitter to announce the sad news, saying, “Sad to confirm the death of Steve, my big brother and my hero. He passed away in the city he loved (NYC). He will be sorely missed. Cheers x”
Steve worked on comics including The Punisher, Hellblazer and Preacher, which went on to become a television series produced by Seth Rogen.
“Devastated by the loss of Steve Dillon. My favorite comic artist who drew my favorite comics. RIP,” Seth wrote on Twitter.
