Billy Bush and his wife Sydney are officially filing for divorce, after separating last year.

According to TMZ, Sydney recently filed the paperwork, citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple split last September, about a year after leaked audio emerged of Billy having a lewd conversation with Donald Trump.

Billy and Sydney got married back in 1998 and were together for almost 20 years.

They share three children – 13-year-old Lillie, 17-year-old Mary and 19-year-old Josie. Sydney is asking for joint legal and primary physical custody of their two minor children.

She is also reportedly seeking spousal support.

A rep for the couple told TMZ they have “separated for the moment to evaluate their life together. They love each other and their children deeply and are committed to a bright future.”

Of course, Billy was at the center of a huge controversy last year when leaked audio emerged of him having a lewd conversation with Donald Trump. Billy had to leave his job at the Today show after the conversation was leaked.

The couple have three children together: Josie, Lillie, and Mary.
