“It doesn’t feel great. Anyone who has an unflattering picture taken of them would probably say, ‘Join the club,’” he added.

When the interviewer said that the photo was not unflattering, Justin responded by saying, “It has the appearance of a compliment, but it’s more mortifying than anything else.”

The photos were snapped in New York City’s Central Park while Justin filmed a jogging scene for The Leftovers.

'The Leftovers' Renewed for Third & Final Season

Justin Theroux‘s The Leftovers has been renewed for a third and final season by HBO, THR reports!

The series debuted in 2014 and quickly became a fan favorite, but the status of the show was unknown after the season two finale aired last week.

The show also stars Amy Brenneman, Liv Tyler, Ann Dowd, Margaret Qualley, Chris Zylka, and more! The final season should debut on the network in 2016.

The show gained some traction this week after a great finale and a Writers Guild of America nomination in the episodic drama category.

'The Leftovers' Showrunner Comments on the Possibility of a Third Season

The season two finale of The Leftovers just aired on HBO and fans are now dying to know if there will be a third season.

HBO has not yet ordered a third season for Justin Theroux and Liv Tyler‘s show, but showrunner and co-creator Damon Lindelof is now commenting on whether or not we could see more.

“If I were watching The Leftovers as a fan, the question that I would most want to know in the wake of the finale is this: Is there going to be more Leftovers? Aside from whether or not HBO’s going to pick up the show for more episodes, [the audience question will be,] Did you design this episode so that it would be the end? Am I looking at this as a potential end of the series?,” Damon told Variety. “I’ll be honest with you, I do not like it when showrunners say, ‘Well, we didn’t know what the future of the show was going to be, so we kind of designed it so it could be the end if there wasn’t anymore.’ This is me saying there are forces greater than me, market forces, that are going to determine what the fate of The Leftovers is. We executed the end of the season as we always planned. We knew exactly how the season was going to end, and that’s exactly what we did. And I would like there to be more Leftovers. So it certainly isn’t a cliffhanger. I think that our best episodes very rarely are. We usually try to end the episodes with some degree of completeness.”

Damon continued, “My hope is that the finale feels like [a wrap-up] for the entire season. We executed exactly the plan that we wanted to execute. There is a feeling of completeness and circularity, but also as storytellers and writers, we want there to be more Leftovers.”

Justin Theroux Discusses That Major 'The Leftovers' Twist

SPOILER ALERT!

Justin‘s character Kevin Garvey was seen lying dead on the ground at the end of the episode and now he’s revealing to Variety what he thought when he found out about the scene.
