Cameron Diaz: From Green Ogre to Green Book
Cameron Diaz and her green ogre reunite at the Korean premiere of Shrek the Third at Shilla Hotel on Wednesday in Seoul, South Korea. Diaz was joined by film producer and CEO of DreamWorks Animation SKG Jeffrey Katzenberg, director Chris Miller and producer Aron Warner. Shrek the Third hits theaters in South Korea on Tuesday, June 6.
But forget the green ogre for a moment! Cameron is working on an eco-friendly how-to manual called Green Book.
Said Cameron, “The book will offer over 700 solutions to everyday life, from travel to beauty products, to household and sporting products – every aspect of your life that you can go to and say, how I can do this better?”
“It tells you, if you’re consuming the way that you’re consuming currently, what it costs the planet. And then, if you consume in this more ecologically-friendly way, what you save the planet. And then, what you can do to follow through with that.
“It’s as simple as changing one light bulb. If everybody in America just changed one lightbulb in their homes, it’s equivalent to taking out a whole fleet of cars from the street for four months – something as crazy like that.”
Green Book will also feature tips from ex-beau Justin Timberlake and celebrity pals Jennifer Aniston, Tyra Banks, Ellen DeGeneres, Will Ferrell, Robert Redford, Owen Wilson, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Martha Stewart, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Tiki Barber.
Green Book will hit shelves in June 2007.
