Kate Walsh: Texting Between Takes

A purple scrubs-clad Kate Walsh and Tim Daly film a heated conversation scene for Private Practice on Monday (November 30) in Santa Monica.

In between takes and getting her makeup done, the 42-year-old actress was spotted texting – since joining Twitter last month, she’s been updating nonstop!

THR reports that Kate has signed on to star in Waska, an indie drama also starring Thomas Dekker, Lynn Collins and Jeremy Piven.

The story is based on a novel by Leslie Schwartz and is about a young father whose young son freezes to death while on a fishing trip and his town’s outcry over the tragedy.

“It’s a totally diff role than [A]ddy,” Kate tweeted.
