Shakira Performs In Punta del Este

Shakira is accompanied by her parents, a friend and her ex-boyfriend, (still her manager) Antonio de la Rua on Sunday (March 6) in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

The 34-year-old singer recently posted a documentary about the Barefoot Foundation, which seeks to ensure that every child can exercise his or her basic right to a quality education.

The Barefoot Foundation supports six Pies Descalzos schools in the diverse Colombian regions of Barranquilla, Altos de Cazucá and Quibdó. More than five thousand children receive nutritious meals, education and psychological support services from our schools, ultimately benefiting 30,000 vulnerable children, their family and community members, all who have been affected by population displacement.
