Ashley Tisdale Signs on for CBS Comedy Pilot

Ashley Tisdale is set to star in CBS’ yet to be titled comedy pilot.

The show – from Louis C.K. and Seinfeld writer Spike Feresten – centers on “an ensemble of young people trying to achieve their creative dreams in these tough financial times,” Deadline reports.

Ashley will be taking on the role of Petra, a “beautiful and sarcastic assistant to a vintage clothing designer struggling to carve out her niche in New York.”

Ashley most recently starred in the CW show Hellcats.
