Shonda Rhimes: Katherine Heigl 'Grey's' Return Not Happening

While Katherine had expressed an interest in wanting to return to Grey’s Anatomy, creator Shonda Rhimes recently shared that there are no plans to write Izzie back in.

“No, I don’t think that’s happening. We are on a track we have been planning, and the idea of changing that track is not something we are interested in right now. (It’s) really nice to hear (Heigl) appreciating the show,” she told TV Guide.
