Joseph Gordon-Levitt Covers 'Men's Health' October 2013

Joseph Gordon-Levitt takes the cover of Men’s Health‘s October 2013 issue, on newsstands now.

Here is what the 32-year-old Don Jon actor had to share with the mag:

On his feelings toward porn: “Porn’s fine. I’m aware that it can be hateful toward women. It can be addictive. It can get ugly. But it’s only damaging if you allow it to be.”

On his body transformation for playing the title character in Don Jon: “I was big, but I wasn’t healthy. The feeling I’ll have after playing basketball with friends for a few hours versus going to the gym and staring at myself for a few hours is the difference between exhilaration and hell. One’s blissful, the other is sore, self-doubting, and lonely.”

On what makes a woman sexy: “Look, Scarlett [Johansson] is a gorgeous, gorgeous woman, but if you just compare purely physical features, plenty of girls are just as gorgeous. But she creates this extra something. It’s in her walk, her eye contact. The total package is just off the charts.”
