Keanu Reeves' 'Passengers' Pushed Back After Rachel McAdams Departs Project

Keanu Reeves takes his motorcycle for a spin on Sunday morning (March 16) in Los Angeles.

The 49-year-old actor’s movie Passengers has just been delayed after his co-star Rachel McAdams dropped out, THR reports.

The film was supposed to hit theaters on April 3, 2015, but since Rachel‘s departure, The Weinstein Co. also stepped away from the project. A search is set to find a new female lead, and the production start date has been pushed back.

The film is about two colonists aboard a spacecraft carrying 5,000 passengers who fall in love. The duo eventually realize on their journey that it is up to them to save all the passengers on the ship.
