Scandal's Columbus Short Arrested on Felony Battery Charge

Scandal star Columbus Short has been arrested on a felony battery charge after allegedly being involved in a bar fight earlier this month.

The 31-year-old actor turned himself into the Claremont Police Department on Wednesday (March 26) after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He was released from custody shortly thereafter after posting $50,000 in bail, according to E! News.

Columbus, who plays gladiator Harrison Wright on Scandal, allegedly punched a man at Gabe’s Bar and Grill in Los Angeles after the man made a joke about the actor’s wife. The man had to to be transported to a hospital via ambulance due to his severe injuries, according to TMZ.
