Charlize Theron and Sean Penn hold hands while enjoying a romantic stroll on Tuesday (May 6) in New York City.

The night before, the 38-year-old actress and the 53-year-old actor were all dressed up while having some fun at an after party for the 2014 Met Ball.

“She married into that world at a young age and got stuck in a life that really wasn’t her own. Through circumstances, she finds herself outside of that life for a split second and gets to really see the potential of something different and better, and tries to go after that,” Charlize recently shared to the New York Times about her character in new film A Million Ways to Die in the West.
