Aubrey Plaza Wants Kids Right Now & Talks Running For Political Office with 'Nylon'!
Aubrey Plaza puts her nail to her lips on the cover of Nylon magazine’s September 2014 issue.
On ending Parks & Recreation this year: “I’m really scared and sad. I just can’t imagine not being forced to be with those people for most of the year.”
On wanting kids: “I really weirdly want them right now, but it’s not great timing. But I also feel, like, when is it ever good timing? I’d be a really weird [mom. A] combination of laid-back and neurotic…No, wait, don’t write that! I’m going to be the cool mom who’s smoking a joint and baking a pie and trying to convince all my kids’ friends to go in the hot tub.”
On creating roles: “I’m going to create my own opportunities. If I can’t find the roles I want, I’ll just make them. I really like comedy, but in the back of my head, I always felt there was a longer journey that I wanted to take.[I'm going to] finish a screenplay, write more in general, run for political office – I don’t know, invent something?”
