Star Trek 3's Director Will Be 'Fast & Furious' Helmer Justin Lin

It has just been announced that Justin Lin has signed on to direct the upcoming film Star Trek 3!

The 43-year-old director replaced Roberto Orci, who took the job after being a co-writer of the series.

The first two Star Trek films were directed by J.J. Abrams, who left to direct a revival of the Star Wars franchise with Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Justin is known for directing many of the films in the Fast & Furious franchise, such as Fast & Furious 6, Fast Five, and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
