Olivia Munn Opens Up About Standing Up To 'Newsroom' Directors

Olivia Munn strikes a pose and flashes a smile before making her way inside the Apple Store Soho on Wednesday (January 14) in New York City.

The 34-year-old actress was there to attend her Apple Store Soho Presents: Meet The Actor event in support of her new film Mortdecai, which hits theaters on Friday, January 23!

That same day, Olivia opened up about having no problem standing up to directors while starring in HBO‘s The Newsroom.

“One director pulled me aside and said ‘Olivia, the thing is, I’m the director, so I have to look at the entire rainbow [...] and you’re bringing something but I don’t think you realize maybe how you’re coming off,” Olivia recounted. “I go, ‘Oh, so do you don’t think I realize how my choices are coming off? [...] How am I coming off? He replied ‘aggressive’ and I go ‘Great! That’s exactly what I wanted,’ and that was it.” Watch the video below!
