Chelsea Handler Talks New Netflix Show, Disses 'Chelsea Lately' & E!

Chelsea Handler talked all about her new Netflix show on Wednesday (February 18) at the Code Media conference and in the process, threw some digs at E! and her former show Chelsea Lately.

“It’s such a different relationship than with E!; it’s nice to be involved in a show where I do respect their opinions,” the 39-year-old entertainer said (via Variety). “It’s like going out with a guy that you’re proud to be seen with.”

She also said that she’s happy to be working with content she enjoys, as opposed to stories about Bruce Jenner or the Kardashians. “I just don’t want to ever have to see that again. I don’t care. I don’t care about that.”

“I would like a healthy mix of everything that goes on around the world…the well-roundedness of ’60 Minutes’ but faster, quicker, cooler,” she added.

“We don’t have a clear idea of what my talk show is going to be at 2016,” Chelsea added. “We’re trying to find a format. I don’t want just my audience that was there at E!; I want to grow up.”
