Darren Criss is Playing Zac Efron's '17 Again' Role in a Musical!

Darren Criss is set to play Zac Efron‘s role in an upcoming reading of a 17 Again musical.

The reading will take place on March 6 and unfortunately it is closed to the public. It is being put on by Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures in hopes of creating new works for first class productions, professional and regional tours, and amateur licensing.

While Darren is starring in the reading, this does not mean he will definitely star in the show if it hits Broadway, though this does sometimes happen!

17 Again is about a guy whose life didn’t quite turn out how he wanted it to and wishes he could go back to high school and change it. He wakes up one day and is seventeen again and gets the chance to rewrite his life.
