Bryan Singer Casts Newcomer Lana Condor as Jubilee in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'

Newcomer actress Lana Condor has just been announced to play mutant Jubilee in the upcoming film X-Men: Apocalypse!

Director Bryan Singer announced the news on his Instagram account.

“I’d officially like to welcome our newest mutant #JubilationLee, #Jubilee @LanaCondor to #XMEN #Apocalypse” Bryan wrote on his Instagram, along with a photo of Lana.

Jubilee is a teen who has the special power of generating explosive plasmoids from her hands.

X-Men: Apocalypse will hit theaters on May 27, 2016. It was recently announced that Jennifer Lawrence would be leaving the franchise after Apocalypse.
