Tom Cruise's 'Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation' Gets Backing From Alibaba

It was recently announced that Chinese company Alibaba has decided to invest in Tom‘s upcoming film Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, which hits theaters on July 31 in the United States.

“Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation is our first step toward internationalization, and Alibaba Pictures looks forward to collaborating with more international movie studios where we can consolidate resources, technologies and talents to establish a world-class integrated entertainment platform for the film industry,” Alibaba Pictures’ CEO Zhang Qiang shared in a statement.
