Tom Hardy Doesn't Intend to Buy Into the 'Celebrity' Life

Tom Hardy catches a flight after attending the Toronto Film Festival on Tuesday (September 15) in Toronto, Canada.

The 38-year-old actor, who caught a flight out with his Legend co-star Emily Browning, opened up to ET Canada at the festival about the press and his personal life.

“There is very little media attention apart from when you are doing press around what we do, which is the work,” Tom said. “Apart from that, my relationship with the press and I suppose understandably so, sort of ends there. I go to work, this is my job. I enjoy it, love doing it. I want people to see it, enjoy it.”

“Media and press fundamentally covers that part of my life and that’s where I hope it stays,” Tom added. “I have no intention to buy into stars, celebrities. It doesn’t really do anything to help me do my work.”
