Charlie Puth Talks His Famous Meghan Trainor Kiss on 'Ellen'

Charlie Puth chats with Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen Show, which aired on on Wednesday (January 13).

The 24-year-old Grammy nominee stopped by the show to perform his song “One Call Away” and talk about his unforgettable American Music Awards kiss with Meghan Trainor during their performance of “Marvin Gaye.”

“I always wanted to make a record like Marvin Gaye’s records where you would put them on this magical record player and everybody would want to, ya know get down with each other,” Charlie said. “It’s all a visual aesthetic for what the song is.”
