Ben Stiller Says Justin Bieber's Birth Was the Reason 'Zoolander 2' Was Written

Justin Bieber shoots some hoops on Thursday (February 18) at Universal Studios in Universal City, Calif.

The 22-year-old “Sorry” singer appears alongside Ben Stiller in the new movie Zoolander 2.

Ben recently joked with Ryan Seacrest that Justin’s birth was the reason the movie was created.

“We actually started thinking about doing a sequel when he was conceived and we waited for him to grow. When he reached puberty, we started going into pre-production,” Ben said. “In the first draft of the script, we wrote him into it back in 2010. He was in it back then as young Justin Bieber.”
