Nick Jonas Unveils New Album Title & Track List on Twitter
Nick Jonas couldn’t help it any longer and had to reveal the name of his album and track list to his fans.
The 23-year-old “Levels” singer announced the name of the album – Last Year Was Complicated – and also opened up about the first single “Close” and what it means to him.
“I’ve been making this record for a year and a half… Pouring everything I have into it. Tomorrow night I’m gonna show the world the first single. When I first started making I thought I knew what it would be about… Then I had a breakup,” he wrote. “It then became very clear what this thing would be about… And that I would need to dig really deep.”
Nick continued, “Sh-t is too real sometimes… Reliving some of these real life experiences through this music is hard. But I know it’s important that I do it. I want to be an open book in my art..The first song you’re gonna hear tomorrow night is about how I literally can’t open up and be vulnerable with someone.”
Out on June 10th, the Last Year Was Complicated track list is: “Voodoo”, “Champagne Problems”, “Close”, “Chainsaw”, “Touch”, “Bacon”, “Good Girls”, “The Difference”, “Don’t Make Me Choose”, “Under You”, “Unhinged” and “Comfortable”.
The track listing will be up tomorrow night too. With the pre sale of the album… Every song is so personal and meaningful to me..
