Emma Roberts Says 'Billionaire Boys Club' Character Was Inspired by Debbie Harry

Emma Roberts types back a message on her phone while running some errands around Los Angeles on Friday (May 6).

Earlier in the week, the 24-year-old actress was seen arriving back from New York City where she attended the 2016 Met Gala.

Speaking with WWD recently, Emma opened up about her character in Billionaire Boys Club, opposite Ansel Elgort.

“We got to do amazing Eighties fashion. Kind of like Debbie Harry, not so much shoulder pads,” she shared. “My character is rock ‘n’ roll-inspired, which I loved, and my hair and makeup direction was Debbie Harry.”
