President Obama Slow Jams the News with Jimmy Fallon, Talks Donald Trump! (Video)

President Barack Obama hits the stage alongside Jimmy Fallon and The Roots‘ Tariq to deliver the “Slow Jam The News” during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (June 9) in New York City.

“It’s been an honor and a privilege to serve as your president over the past eight years,” the 54-year-old Commander-in-Chief declared as he began explaining his accomplishments in the economic sector.

President Obama also sat down to discuss the state of the Republican Party and how he feels about their presumptive nominee Donald Trump.

“Speaking of reality TV…,” Jimmy said. “Do you think the Republicans are happy with their choice?”

“We are, but I don’t know how they feel,” Obama expressed. “What’s happened in that party, culminating in this current nomination, is not something that’s good for the country as a whole, and not something that Republicans should wish for.”
