Steven Tyler Says Aerosmith Will Go On Farewell Tour in 2017

Steven Tyler hits the stage of The Today Show for a morning concert with his band Aerosmith on Friday (June 24) in New York City.

The 68-year-old rocker appeared on Howard Stern‘s radio show earlier in the week and confirmed that the band will break up after a farewell tour in 2017.

“I love this band, I really do, and I want to squash every thought that anybody might have about this. The band’s over,” Steven said. “We’re doing a farewell tour, but it’s only because it’s time.”

Steven did say that the farewell tour would go on “probably forever,” so don’t be too sad yet!
