Rihanna Reveals 'Sledgehammer' Release Date & Trailer

Rihanna has revealed when her new song “Sledgehammer” will be released and it’s not far away at all!

The 28-year-old singer’s new single will be featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie Star Trek Beyond and it will be released on Monday morning (June 27) at 8am EST.

“#SLEDGEHAMMER @StarTrekMovie fans, be up tomorrow by 8am EST for a special premiere!” Rihanna tweeted along with the emoji for the Vulcan salute.

News of the song’s existence was announced earlier in the weekend after iTunes teased it with a banner ad in the pop music section.
