Alexander Skarsgard Reveals How He Got Tarzan's 8 Pack Abs
Alexander Skarsgard looks super sexy while posing for photos on a rooftop for a new feature in Mr Porter’s The Journal.
The 39-year-old The Legend of Tarzan actor opened up to the mag about how he got his eight pack abs to play the title role in the new film.
Alex spent three months bulking up and added “25lb by eating ‘an insane’ 7,000 calories a day (three times his usual intake) and lifting heavy weights.”
Once he arrived in London for filming, Alex “embarked on a very strict sugar-, gluten-, wheat-, dairy- and alcohol-free diet of six smaller meals per day alongside his twice-daily training sessions.”
Alex worked with his friend Magnus Lygdback instead of using one of Warner Bros’ trainers. “When you have to see the same person every morning at 4.30am, it’s important you get on well with them,” he said.
