Chris Pine Got a Black Eye From Idris Elba During 'Star Trek Beyond'

Chris Pine leaves a magazine stand with some goodies on Sunday (July 24) in Los Feliz, Calif.

The 35-year-old Star Trek Beyond star was recently at 2016 Comic-Con, where he and Idris Elba talked about an incident during their fight scene!

“Fighting Captain Kirk was definitely like, ‘What?!’ All the Captain Kirk fights are always iconic, and here I was in the middle of one. It was great! Chris Pine and I actually got a little too physical and he ended up with a black eye – which ended up in the movie, by the way!” Idris told People.

“It was great,” Chris added. “He gave me a black eye, and that was fun, and we used that. He’s a big guy and we tussled and threw some fake punches. All in a day’s work!”
