Zoey Deutch Never Had An 'Aha' Moment About Acting

Here’s what the 21-year-old actress shared with the special insert mag:

On watching her parents, mother, actress Lea Thompson, and father Howard Deutch, while growing up: “It was definitely a strange experience when I would see my mom making out with various people; it made me question if my parents really loved each other.”

On deciding to become an actress: “I never have a fun answer to the question of how I decided to become an actress. I never had that ‘aha!’ moment. It was just always what I wanted to do.”

On working over the past few years and building her now blossoming career as an actress: “I feel like I’ve been working nonstop, and now things are finally starting to come out. It’s funny because in the past few years people in my life have questioned whether I was lying to them about filming in Baton Rouge or Atlanta or Vancouver or wherever in order to ditch them. Now that everything’s starting to trickle out, they’re like, ‘Oh, that’s what you were doing. You weren’t lying.’ And I’m like, ‘Thanks for doubting me, great friends.’”
