Lady Gaga Opens Up About Her Battle with Depression
Lady Gaga shows off her toned torso while leaving her apartment and going to Z100 studios on Monday morning (September 12) in New York City.
The 30-year-old singer opened up about her battle with depression in a new interview with The Mirror.
“I needed a moment to stabilize,” Gaga said about her break after releasing her last album. “When my career took off, I don’t remember anything at all. It’s like I’m traumatized. I needed time to recalibrate my soul.”
“I take medication. I’m not saying I feel good because of the medication – I wouldn’t encourage young people to take anti-depressants or mood stabilizers,” she added. “I openly admit to having battled depression and anxiety and I think a lot of people do. I think it’s better when we all say: ‘Cheers!’ And ‘fess up to it.”
FYI: Gaga is wearing John Fluevog boots.
