Jessica Alba Talks Achieving Goals: 'I Was Adamant About Becoming A Superhero'
Jessica Alba starts off her morning with a coffee while taking a walk on Thursday (October 20) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The day before, the 35-year-old actress stayed comfy in pajama-type outfit and carried the same red purse as she landed at LAX Airport.
The Honest Company founder was returning from a trip to Boston, where she attended Forbes‘ Under 30 Summit and opened up about parenthood, starting her own business, and battling allergies, asthma, and sometimes pneumonia when she was younger.
“I was adamant about being a superhero,” Jessica told the crowd. “I wanted, as a sick kid, to have superpowers and overcome anything and save the world.”
“People are every month getting products delivered to their home,” she went on to discuss The Honest Company. “We’ve transformed people’s lives. For any entrepreneur out there when you’re faced with challenges, you can’t let them define you.”
“[How people view me] doesn’t matter as much a couple of years later because I don’t allow it to matter as much,” she added. “I’ve been able to own my power and take the position that I feel is rightfully mine and be the leader that I’ve always wanted to be. It took baby steps for me. You have to walk in with your end goal in mind and make sure you’re relentless until you walk out of the room.”
FYI: Jessica is wearing a Kenzo x H&M t-shirt on the walk. She is wearing a Kenzo x H&M patterned top and pants at the airport. She is also using Raden luggage as well.
