Jake Gyllenhaal & Amy Adams Were Convinced By Tom Ford's 'Nocturnal Animals' Screenplay To Star In The Film
Jake Gyllenhaal is all smiles while sitting down to discuss his latest film Nocturnal Animals at the 2016 Variety and AARP Movies for Grownups Screening on Thursday (November 3) in Los Angeles.
The 35-year-old actor was joined at the panel by his co-stars Amy Adams and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, as well as screenwriter-director Tom Ford.

“I was completely drawn into the screenplay – I was so moved. It was the story Tom told me that got me,” Jake admitted during the Q&A. “And the role offered this strange thing for me: It was a character who had no power. I had played characters who had been completely in control.”
“I found the script very compelling and the character was something I hadn’t seen before,” Amy added. “It seemed nearly impossible. It had a theme of loss of oneself, loss of love, and loss of loyalty. It all came together in a way I knew I had to do it.”
