Nick Jonas Almost Wasn't Allowed to Vote in the Election!

Nick Jonas may have headed straight to the voting booth when he got off the plane from Hawaii on Election Day earlier this week, but he almost didn’t get to cast his vote!

The 24-year-old “Close” singer was reportedly one of the first people in line at the polling place in Sherman Oaks, Calif., but officials had trouble finding his name on the sheet, TMZ reports.

Nick was then taken to a private room where he had to explain to the workers that he had just moved to the area, so he wasn’t registered yet.

Luckily, he was finally able to cast his vote – presumably for Hillary Clinton, as he turned down $2 million to perform at the 2016 Republican National Convention over the summer!
